Government Degree College Nagrota Surian organized a Talent Hunt Competition, “अन्वेषण,” on 26 and 27 August 2026 to provide students with a platform to showcase their creativity and talents. The event featured a wide range of competitions, including declamation, cartooning, on-the-spot painting, poster making, solo song, solo dance, group dance, reel making, online quiz, and rangoli. The online quiz competition was held on 27 August 2026 while all the other events were held on 27 August 2026.

The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from students belonging to different streams and academic years. A total of 83 students participated, representing approximately 23% of the total student strength of the college.

The Officiating Principal, Prof. Ajay Kumar, appreciated the overwhelming participation and encouraged the students to continue nurturing their talents and actively participate in co-curricular activities. He also congratulated all the winners and appreciated the efforts of every participant.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Anuragini, Convener, Cultural Committee.
